I don’t quite realize how much I eat in a week until I sit here and review it all with you guys. This might as well be a food diary. But what can I say, I love to eat! Luckily, I also like to workout. These two things make me one happy Cookie.
Let’s start with the food. We’ve got a whole week of eats to review before we do anything else.
I’d like to say that’s the extent of my chowing down this week, but I also enjoyed an epic pizza date with my boyfriend that included some killer, crispy cheese fries and unbelievable extra-cheese pizza from NY Pizza in Waterville, NY. We nearly emptied every plate and pan on the table.
It was worth every bite. I highly recommend Waterville’s NY Pizza; it’s thin, super cheesy, and good-quality pizza. Plus, the sauce is sweet and delectable.
Because we’ve got to have dessert, we stopped at the local ice cream place, The Ice Cream Factory in Sauquoit, NY. I got this ginormous mint chocolate sundae, complete with dark chocolate ice cream with mint stripes, mint chocolate chips ice cream, mint-chocolate sprinkles, hot fudge, and whipped cream. It was epic, and I’d definitely order it again.
In contrast to all that chowing down, I’m busting my butt at the gym. We celebrated the launch of BODYSTEP 100 at my gym this week, which equates to 25 years of BODYSTEP! This Les Mills group fitness program has been around so long because it rocks. It’s a full-body step-based cardio class with athletic moves that target the legs and butt. We have a lot fun, we sweat a ton, and we rock out to pumping music. It’s tough, but so fun. If you’ve got it at a gym near you, check it out.
Since it was technically BODYSTEP’s birthday, we knew a Happy Birthday theme was the only way to go. We had balloons, decor, and glow stick bracelets galore!
I also enjoy a little BODYPUMP, my boyfriend’s program. Between BODYPUMP’s full-body weight training and my BODYSTEP’s full-body cardio, I am pooped out from this week.
But there’s nothing better than coming home to cuddle with my beautiful girl. I’m a lucky mama!
How was your week?
