I don’t know about you, but I think it’s been a lovely weekend. The weather was just gorgeous, and I took some time for myself after a long, bustling week to enjoy an evening out with my guy.

In case you didn’t know, last Monday was National Best Friends Day, so I celebrated with this guy. There’s a national day for everything, including National Peanut Butter Cookie Day, which was on Friday. See how much you can learn from my Instagram and Twitter?
We couldn’t do much actual celebrating on Best Friends Day since it was a weeknight, but we spent our Saturday night together instead. We started with dinner at one of my favorite local places, Swifty’s Bar in Utica.
We shared the Appetizer Sampler, and I got my favorite Black Bean Burger. After we were stuffed, we went to my boss’ dance recital where I found out that she is one multi-talented lady. Finally, we capped the night off with ice cream.
You guys are familiar with Mina’s sink antics, but did you know her brother Mr. Poe has taken to it too now? What is it about sinks that cats find so appealing?
